This is one of the best tuners on the market. Yes, it is a bit pricy but you are getting much more than a tuner. The Peterson StroboStomp 2 is a new version of the Strobostomp. It is also a lot sturdier since it is encased in an aluminum case and features Nuetrek connectors with ¼ inch and a XLR connection for the active DI function located on the top of the unit. This comes in handy on saving space on your pedal board. The LED display is bright and easy to read in low-lighted areas and is 100% true bypass. The DI function and bypass settings are easily accessible via the DIPswitches located inside the battery compartment. Since the tuner is shipped with, the bypass off you may want to turn it on when you want to incorporate this pedal into your effects chain. The pedal can also function as an active DI if you want to go straight into a recording console or a PA system and the pedal can power a few effects pedals too.The pedal features tuning settings for-electric guitar-acoustic
Okay, so here’s the deal. I’ve got a Shure SM57 vocal/instrument mic. I want to buy some relatively cheap home recording software. I’m thinking of either Sony Acid Music Studio or Cakewalk’s Sonar Home Studio. I play both acoustic and electric guitar, Virtual Recording Studio and sing as well. So I need something with powerful multitrack recording capabilities. I also have a friend who plays keyboard, so I might get some use out of him. I’m into audio sampling and making mash-ups of songs. So it also needs to have some sort of beat-mapping feature and tempo and pitch synchronization. I’m planning on running it on a laptop, if that makes a difference. Does anyone have any suggestions on which one i should purchase? Or if you know any other software that would be better, feel free to recommend it. I’m relatively new to this, so I could use the help. Oh, and a library of pre-made loops and virtual instrument sounds would be nice to. Thanks.
