Received a class 2 card instead of the class 6 as listed in the technical details. Amazon customer service is sending out a replacement; I’ll follow up as to whether the replacement is 6 or 2.
Is it common for a CD drive to not be able to read new CD-Rs of certain brands?
I have an old CDRW drive (Pioneer, 6 years old) which seems unable Maxell Pro to use all new CD-Rs from a certain brand. In this case its Maxell CD-R pro for photos, which is “triple coated” for extra scratch resistence. I suspect this extra coating is affecting the reading ability of the drive. Anyone has similar experience? Will the stores accept returns in such cases?
