Verison’s coverage map is inaccurate/plus att vs verizon?
I looked my coverage up on Verizon’s coverage map and it is wrong. I have friends in my neighborhood that do not get service at all when verizon said that they should. I still do not know what phone to get iphone 4 or droid x, there are pros and cons to both. Att and iPhone Pros: better service in my area, slimmer phone, cheaper service, more apps, apple has good customer service (phones swapped out with no questions asked)Cons: entenna issues, no unlimited plan, Since I dont have credit I need to put down a $150-$1000 deposit.Verizon droid xPros: bigger screen, unlimited data (for the time being), non screened apps, turn by turn gpsCons: service not so good in my naighborhood (idk about other places), expensive service, less appsOverall, the phone should Pro Extender have service in a lot of places, especially in one’s house. I am going to see if verizon can give me the network extender for free, after all if they want my business they have to invest some of their technology and money on me in order to get a payback. As for the iPhone the antenna issues do not bug me much, especially since I would be putting a cover on the phone. My dad is getting a discount on the verizon service through his company. We have sprint and the service freakin sucks balls, no joke, roaming everywhere, and battery dies quick. Verizon will be buying the rest of our contract out for the rest of the year and giving us free phones, which we will be upgrading for a small fee. This whole phone thing is kind of crazy, contracts, locked carriers, as well as for people that are forced to purchase a data plan even when they do not need it (they just want to use wifi)My dad for sure is getting verizon because he needs push to talk for his company (hes the business owner buying the phones for everyone, about 5) should I join with him so I get a discount for being on the business plan and get the droid x with unlimited data for only $30 or get att on my own and pay the deposti and $25 for 2gb data. I know this is silly because I am worried about data, when I should be worried about a phone that works for the purpose of being a phone, but I want the features that the phones offer, and if we as human beings are being forced to purchase a data plan I would at least want one that is the least expensive in the long run and that would be verizons unlimited for only $5 more. So tell me what you think, give me some advice.
