It works great for me! Only complaint is that the battery does not seem to hold a charge well, so I always have to charge it up before taking it out into the field or have it plugged into the wall socket. I use a 1 Gig card and that gives me well over 12 hours of recording time. I tried the little stereo mic that comes with it, not expecting much, the other day. I was shocked. It works great for spoken voice.
That is the only thing I have tried he mic for. I use this to accompany video recording and although I have 4 much more expensive mics, but for a video interview where I need spoken voice, that will be all I need. The price is right and for audio in the field this does its job nicely.
For Compact Recorder a compact cassette player/recorder, where can I buy/get a head cleaner? Thanks
