I overlooked these for a long time. I got the Denon 1000’s under the impression that they played mp3 discs but that turned out to be a misunderstanding. I didn’t want to spend CDJ 1000 money so I went to get what I thought was the next level down, the 800’s. That’s when another DJ suggested I give the 400’s a shot. USB port for a flash drive (not on the 800’s) effects like a flanger (jet), wah and transform and the seldom used but available bubble scratch (also not on the 800’s), all in a smaller package for less money. The 800’s do have the adjustable brake, a feature not found on the 400’s, but the 400’s have a “roll” feature that works even better. I’ve had my 400’s for a year now and I still love them. In the past I’ve had laptops fail and external hard drives crash on me. Now I play all of my music from flash drives and play every weekend with no problem.I am an industry veteran and I’d tell anyone in the market for a media player to check these out. Sure you could spend

THe CDJ 200 is one of the best mixing turntables out there and its affordable..One of the features i like about the CDJ is the beat-loop where it keeps the BPM constant until you chanhe it..its good for changing music…i really recommend this item to everyone who wants to DJ.
