At every warehouse party, club, and underground event there is only one mixer up to the task of heavy rumbling, dust storms, rugged use, and features available to be taken advantage of by a roster of DJs. I purchased my DJM-600 instead of the DJM-800, despite the obvious advantages of the 800 because mastering the analog 600 is essential to being able to DJ at events. I also take it out and throw my own events, and despite other DJs being quite harsh with it I can still use it for studio mixing without problems with the faders.Another great ability that few know about is that the 1/4″ TS unbalanced outputs are at -10db and are excellent for recording into Pro Audio interfaces without the need for a compressor. The RCA record outs are at line level and can clip if you are not careful. But he said (no he’s not trying to make us buy it, i just asked) that you need one of those cd scratchy things as well. Knowing nothing about this stuff, i was wondering if you could help me out. Thanks.I’d just really like to know what you think we should get/what is good and well any information at all really.
