What it does, so far it does fairly well, however the impression given is that this is a proper audio interface as well as a preamp and analog/digital converter, and thus my expectation was to connect the audio output to my speakers for proper monitoring of all incoming (to computer) and outgoing (from computer) signals, and not have to rely on the headphone jack on my PC anymore, a less than optimal connection as its purpose is driving headphones, not proper hi-fi equipment. Sadly, this interface’s outputs only pass the signal from its analog audio inputs, not, I believe, the digital inputs, and definitely not PC audio via USB.
