
Behringer produces some pretty good gear at affordable prices. I use several pieces of rack equipment made by Behringer and for the money, I am pretty satisfied with their equipment. The Sonic Ultramizer is a simple yet effective piece of gear. I recently chained an ultramizer to my rack and the difference in sound (guitar) is quite noticeable. I placed it near the end of the chain and it works well with overall signal enhancement. The only controls are high and low contour but this device really works well for putting the final touches into the mix. I run my gear as follows: Kustom 100 watt quad head through a Genz Benz 4×12 cabinet. I loop into the rack which consists of: 1.Genini power conditioner; 2.Behringer Vamp Pro preamp/modeler; 3.Behringer Virtualizer effects processor; 3.Behringer Multicom Pro compressor; 4.Behringer 15 band eq; 5.Behringer Sonic Ultramizer; 6.Behringer Multigate Pro noise gate/expander.
