I bought this for my husband a month ago for our first anniversary. We have both beaten on it and it takes quite a beating. It comes complete with drumsticks and headphones. It is kind of a pain to put together but when you do, make sure you tighten all of the screws so when you’re playing it won’t move on you. We have had no problems so far. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a built-in speaker of any sort so you have to buy your own or no one can hear it. Otherwise, it is a great buy!
How to set up DJ speakers?
I get that a good spaker set up is to have, say, 2 speakers plus 2 separate subwoofers. I’ve seen them set up so the woofer is the base and sits on the floor and then a pole comes up Dj Set Up and the regular speakers sit on top.So is that cool to have the bass unit on the floor?Should the regular speaker be above head height or can it just be at head height?And do all those pro speakers have 35mm holes in the top and bottom for mounting a pole?And what does “top hat” refer to in regard to all this – is it the top speaker, the pole or something else?Thanks if any dj’s or musicians can answer this!
