just got this controller and was messing around.
Build quality is great, even though its plastic and it’s not as heavy as I’d expected it to be but it’s exactly very light either.
I cannot exactly describe it to be really portable cause this controller probably won’t fit into the usual backpacks.
The non-removable cable is a no-no as well, but hey for $149 this can be overlooked.
Jog wheels are very large, comparable to those on the cdjs.
Buttons are responsive and have a clicky feel.
knobs could be better improved by adding bright colors to the direction indicator.
Overall, a good product, worth the $149.
What DJ system should I buy.?
I’m not sure what system I should buy or whats Best for me as a starter. I all ready know hot use software like Virtual DJ, Acid, Reason, Fruity Loops to edit,create and mix audio. But I love playing music so I want to get a DJ SET to play at parties and possibly do freelance work, bars,parties,functions Numark Dj Audio etc. I will be getting the Numark NS7 in 6 months but for now I need something I can learn and get the job done. This is will also become my back up DJ set once I get my Numark NS7>I want this system to have a direct connection to my laptop, so no vinyls, no CD’s just the PC managing the music library, with virtual software managing the DJ set. > Under 700 bucks.> Two turntables,jog wheels to blend and scratch music.> A system with a intergraded mixer> I want to scratch on it too, if possible. My main focus would be Club Hip Hop,Dance music and my personal at home favorite would be Old school hip hop and scratching.
