My DJing needs were pretty minimal; I wanted to use PC software to mix outputs via an external source. The DJ I/O filled that need perfectly. This box is relatively inexpensive, it’s compact and I found it very easy to install and use with open source mixing software.
Do I need an external soundcard for my Numark Mixtrack?
So I was thinking about getting the Numark Mixtrack, and heres how i want to set it up. I want it of course to connect Numark Dj I O Dj to my computer. and then connect the mixtrack to connect to a pair of numark NpM5 speakers so I can hear the playing track while I introduce the new track while listening to the new introducing track on my headphones. Will I need an external sound card such as the “Numark DJ I/O Multi Channel USB 2.0 DJ Audio Interface ” to do so?
