Ordered this for my wife as an early Christmas present. She was very excited until I watched her attempting to use it. We discovered side B was not able to read discs. When we placed the same discs in side A they worked great. After going through the process with three different discs she gave up hoping it was a small glitch that would work itself out. She takes great care of her CDs so there was not a scratch or spec of dust on them. She’s sending it back for a refund while searching for a more reliable single CD+G player. We are hoping a single tray player will be more reliable since there are far fewer components to malfunction.

What is the best duel CD DJ equipment out there for a beginner?
Hi,I am looking into starting to DJ at parties and weddings (mobile DJ-ing) and would like some advice on which piece of equipment is recommended for a beginner,I would like a duel CD deck with the mixer already integrated with it as I feel this would be the more affordable and Numark Dj Cd Mixer user friendly option.I have already done a bit of research on these types of decks and have so far seen the following three: 1) Numark CD Mix 3 2) Gemini CDM 3600 3) Citronic CD Mix 2I found that the more I looked into these items the more people I found who have had problems with each of them and now I am becoming more confused than ever!If you could give me some advice on which of these items are more suitable for me or if you know of any other items that might be good then please shout it out!!Many thanks for all who answer, and there will be a big bundle of points for whoever gets the best answer!
