I have owned several of these when isolation from noise is needed. Fits Mic Stands and Mic Arms. An extra -20 dB of noise isolation is always a plus when you need it!
The AT 8410A is well made and should not give you any trouble. Worth the $40.00+ price tag if you need extra noise and vibration isolation, especially from Bass sources.
Is FL Studio 9, any M-audio gear, or Pro tools compatible with Windows Pro audio Gear 7?
