I bought this to extend some RCA speaker wires with another pair of wires I had lying around. It serves exactly that purpose, and I have not noticed any quality degradation by using these to connect them.
I do have to mention though, the picture is misleading. These are actually two separate couplers, although the picture makes it seem like it is on piece. For me, this is no big deal, and actually works better in my opinion, but be aware of that.
What Camcorder Should I Purchase?
I’m in high school and i currently have a dated handheld sony handycam. I am very interested in the making of short films and im looking to make an investment in a semi pro camcorder. I’ve been looking at the canon X1 A1, which is a very good camera for a somewhat reasonable price. My max price would be about Pro Audio Equipment For Sale 5000$. I’ve decided to purchase a semi-pro camera rather than the top of the line handheld HD camcorder because i’d like my equipment to not be obsolete in 3 months, expecting that the semi pro camera would be still considered good in 3 years. I’d like to purchase a camera with a good quality picture, manual controls and audio inputs (XLR). Seeing as im not overly knowledgeable about semi-pro to pro camcorders any other suggested features that are necessary would be greatly appreciated. Also any suggestions as to when the best time is to purchase cameras in regards to sales and new products would be great. What are some other good camcorders that more or less fit my needs, thanks.
