I have to admit I was a little apprehensive when it came to purchasing this product, The price factor just seemed to be too good to be true. But I must say this little bugger does everything it says it’s gonna do to a fairly high quality level. I am a career musician and my effects loop has been acting a little quirky lately, so I purchased this unit to go along with the few analog pedals that I use when I don’t want to rely on a rack system. The flanger has SUCH an outstanding overall tone that I would have purchased the unit just for this effect. The chorus gets nice and syrupy at high levels while still retaining your overall tone. And I should say with ALL of the effects, the levels stay consistent no matter how much effect mix you are using. The Phaser works great, but is not very strong or defined. But for 29.00 …… it’s STILL worth the money. The delay as well sounds great. The delay does not have a very long time (I’m guessing 450 ms), but is more than adequate for most

I bought this pedal in hopes of diving into the world of effects pedals. This wouldn’t be so odd except that I play trombone. So I figured this would be a good way to experiment and see what worked and what didn’t, so that I could then upgrade to a better pedal or several.
First the good news: This pedal allowed me to figure out quite a few things, and showed me what was possible. It also gave me ideas for what to look for in the future. Having multiple effects available gave me a chance to use some of the most common effects and see what they did for my trombone.
Now the bad: This pedal has given me trouble from the beginning. At first it was a question of the battery dying quickly. Then I was getting blinded by the indicator light. Then it started making noise. This was mostly just a low hum, but any time I touched the pedal to move it there was a loud crunching noise, almost like a broken connection. I had a friend take a look at it, and he found a couple breaks in the solder joints that were caused by poor quality soldering. When I got it back, it was better for a little while, but then the hum came back. I’ve given up trying to find what’s wrong with it, and I am now looking for my next pedal.
Essentially, this pedal is a good intro, but nothing more.

I’ve used the FX600 for a couple of years. I’ve got a pedal board, with several pedals, but if I had to take only one pedal with me, (and I often do, when I have to travel lite), this is the pedal I take. Not only do I get a full selection of effects, but the pedal doubles as a DI unit, solving input issues on some problem sound systems I’ve played thru. That’s probably an unintended benefit, but I find it a valuable feature, which gives me confidence to play thru any system. FYI, my buddy’s Digitech multi-effect pedal actually introduces hum into systems, where this (FX600) has helped me get a cleaner sound. While this unit has no tone adjustments, it also adds ’something’ to make my guitars sound better (I know that is sort of vague). The only down side of this pedal that I have found is that, because they have jammed so much stuff into one pedal, it is a little hard to make precise adjustments. But, with what this pedal DOES do for me, that’s a small price to pay. For this price, I can’t see why anyone would not like this pedal.

I’m a beginner guitar player, and I’ve been interested in effect pedals but could not make up my mind which ones to get for the style of music I would like to play. When I ordered this pedal it worked well with my Crybaby Wah and sounds great in Church when I play for service. It has also helped me get an idea of what effects I really want now that I’ve experimented I’m OK with spending larger amounts of money on more advanced pedals. This is definitely great for beginners or a practice set up. It was well worth the money.

It’s inexpensive, it works great, it’s not flashy or intricate, and it gets the job done. Not a spectacular sound, but it’s more than enough value for the price. I use it live, and works great.

I’ve had this about a month now and I love it. I use it for home recording and primarily use the reverbs for vocals and electric and acoustic guitars. I mess around with the delays and other effects but I love the reverbs. The reverbs and delays do not produce any feedback or noise which is great for recording. Phaser and Flanger has a little “phasing” noise but I guess all phasers and flangers will have that. Overall, I love it. You can use two effects at once which is nice, hence the term “dual effects processor”. I thought it had two inputs but it only has one. No biggie, I’m a solo musician anyway. I do not record on a computer so I can’t comment on USB connection but there is one so this could be a great plugin for PC recording. Good buy!

I record (and sometimes perform) ambient/electronic music. Electric guitar, no synthesizers. I was searching for a reverb unit, but most effects boxes for reverb are limited and expensive. For the price, this thing is amazing. Many different reverb and delay settings as well as built in modulation effects. Easy to use, easy to program and durable.

I bought this mainly for a reverb unit for my guitar rig. I have a mesa boogie rectifier half stack and I have this in a small rack that I place on top and run through the effects loop along with my rack tuner, sonic maximizer, and power conditioner. It was an awesome setup! After about a year of playing out, the unit would not stay on its program. The LED started going crazy and it started jumping between programs and pretty much made it useless. I took it to the local electronics guy and he said there was a loose connection and fixed it. It went for a while longer and started doing it again. I finally figured out that it was probably from the vibration of the big, loud amp. I placed a folded towel between the amp head and the rack and it seems to help. I gave the unit five stars because it is a very fine unit, I just don’t think it was designed for what I am using it for. I really like the fact that there are two separate processors. You can have two different effects at the same time. I really like the pitch shifting. It is totally adjustable and you can make your guitar sound like a twelve string or make your vocals sound like Layne Staley! No matter what you would use it for, this is an awesome unit that probably should cost alot more.
