I use this cord to connect miscellaneous items (laptops, mp3 players, whatever) to my surround sound speaker system. Of course it won’t provide surround sound, but it is an inexpensive stereo 3.5mm cable that works fine, I have had no problems with it.

Best Equipment For A Home Studio?
Hello!I am 15 years old. I play guitar and I have decent gear. I have a Peavey 6505+ 112 Combo, an ESP LTD MH-301, and an ESP LTD MH-250. When recording my music for covers for Youtube, I use a Rock Band 2 microphone, which is horrid. It sounds like garbage. I want to have really really good quality sound when I play. I don’t want to be like other people who record there music through a camera Buy Used Recording studio Equipment mic. I understand that my amp has something called MSDI (Microphone Simulated Direct Interface). Im questioning whether or not to go ahead and use that for my recording. Is it good enough? Does it give studio like quality? If not, then what can I add to it to make it sound better? (I am a noob with all this recording stuff). If I shouldn’t go ahead with the MSDI option, and just mic it up my way, then what would you advise me to get to make sure that I get the best quality I can get? I heard a lot of the Shure SM57 and the Shure X2U. Should I buy those two products to mic up my amp and connect it to my mac? Or should I buy a Audio/MIDI USB Computer Interface to hook up the MSDI from my amp. Thanks So Much!! (:I also was thinking about buying the Apogee ONE. It has a mic built in that I heard was quite well. Should I just buy that?
