I purchased this machine and it worked for a week and then it wouldn’t power on anymore. I sent it back. Another machine was sent to me that produces static during every song. So it stays on, but sounds horrible. The microphones both broke with normal use after a week as well. They are super cheap. This machine is a big heap of junk.

We received this player and it would not play Karaoke CD’s. We tried 3 CD’s. At one point it sort of worked, but mainly just sat there making a loud humming noise as it tried to spin up the disc. Eventually, it would just give up. Could have been a bad unit. Kaito Electronics (the actual seller) refused to pay for return shipping and had very poor customer service. Unacceptable in my book. I bought a replacement player at Walmart and it plays our CD’s just fine. Be careful in doing business with Kaito. I would never buy anything from them again. Amazon tried to help and had excellent customer service, but could not convince Kaito to pay the $20.00 in return shipping.

R 13’s are the zenith choice for both intermediate players as well as professionals. Amazon selling these instruments kindof gives me an uneasy feeling, because they don’t specialize in instrument selling, unlike websites such as wwbw.com, and do not do play tests for optimal performance. any musician should understand that the instrument of this high caliber should be the best of the bunch that they get, and amazon should seek ways to improve selling the best instruments
