I’m using the Audiophile 192 to output an SPDIF signal to an outboard D/A converter only. The card does this very well. Can’t comment on any other features.
sound recording?
i need to record some music of me playing the quitar for a school Sound Recording project and i dont know what program to use on my comp. I have audacity but whenever i try to record something it barely picks up any sound. please help!

This book/cd is amazing. With specific exercises to help you identify frequency ranges, shelving and hi/lo pass filters, thd and lots more. College level work book and exercises to get you thinking about your audio from a solid foundation.
I wish I’d found this book 15 years ago! Excellent. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get into recording/audio as a hobby or career.
