I host a monthly Open Mic in Pasadena, at Jones Coffee, a small warehouse space. For the past 10 months I had been using a Behringer Eurorack mixer, which is about the same size as this one, also with 8-ins. Before that, I used a spirit folio, which is a tiny bit smaller. I connect the mixer to 2 Behringer powered speakers. Using this set up, I could handle 3 mics, a couple guitar-ins or a guitar and a keyboard.Behringer UB802 Eurorack UB802 Mixer (8 Inputs)Eurolive B215D 15″ Powered PA CabinetA few of my performers would occasionally request reverb on the mics, but I didn’t want the hassle of bringing in an aux effects unit and patching it in. I figured the acoustics of the warehouse space provided sufficient reverb. At the same time, I found it challenging to get a decent sound – I could barely get the (Shure) mics loud enough to make the vocals audible without sounding muddy and overamplified, or feeding back.So I bought a Yamaha MG82CX a couple weeks ago, and used it for
I have the MW10c, and when I record – no matter how many channels I use, it always comes into cubase 5 in the single channel. Is there any way that I can seperate these channels Yamaha Mixer into the channels that they are on the mixer so that I can edit each of the channels individually in cubase??? Eg. I want to be able to record drums and adjust the level of snare drum or bass drum once they’re in the program as separate tracks, not as a single audio track for the entire drum kit. If you don’t know an answer exactly, do you know where I’d find one? or at least some key words that I can use to describe what I want?
